Simunye Civils was founded in January 1996 in response to the growing infrastructure needs of post-apartheid Southern Africa. From day one, our mission has been simple: build essential infrastructure to the highest standard, on time, within budget — and leave every community we work in better than we found it.

Based in Westville, Durban, we are a 100% Black-owned and managed civil engineering firm with deep roots in KwaZulu-Natal. Our teams are professionally registered, technically skilled, and experienced across roads, stormwater, water reticulation, oil and gas infrastructure, and housing construction.
